Partial Hospitalization Program
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide a more concentrated and in-depth level of non-residential and non-inpatient care compared to an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The PHP is designed for those struggling with substance abuse, chemical dependency, mental health disorder, and/or behavioral health disorders, who need more structured and focused care. The goal of the PHP is to prepare the patient for a successful return to home, work, or school by addressing and managing the symptoms that can make these transitions so challenging.
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) consists of:
5 classes each week
6 hours for each class session
2 month period of time
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Sacred Oak Medical Center offers a safe, stable and supportive environment with community and family interaction. The PHP is best suited for those who require greater care than the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), but not the hospice level of care that an inpatient treatment program provides. Everyone who engages in PHP receive individualized treatment plans that are tailored to meet their unique needs so that their treatment goals can be most appropriately met.
In order to participate in Sacred Oak Medical Center Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), participants:
Must have achieved the degree of stability that will allow them to fully engage in all therapeutic interventions
Must not have any physical or psychological needs that require round-the-clock care
Must also be capable of living independently, or must have secured other housing arrangements
Must have a way to commute to and from the center
